About

The header photo is of a Linum rupestre, common name Rock Flax. This photo is called “Consecration,” a title given by my sister.

“Bob’s brain: Living well with a movement disorder and other comorbidities” is a blog intended to be a repository for interesting bits of information that I pick up regarding research into Parkinson’s Disease, Essential Tremor, music, and other related topics so that I can find them and refer to them as needed.

“Bob’s Brain: etc. … now has incorporated my other blog, “Return to the Natives / Native Plants are the Answer.”

Sometimes I might expound on my thoughts. Sometimes I might just post a link and an abstract, sometimes I will just amuse myself, without regard to scholarly or academic notions of documenting where I have gotten or stolen or extrapolated ideas.

I try to use links to open access research articles whenever possible. I will synthesize materials, but often will just let the reader access the original information so one can make up one’s own mind about the data.
